(LOS ANGELES) -- Following the success of the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" theme park in Orlando, Florida, Universal Studios has announced a second is to be constructed at Universal Studios Hollywood.
A start date for construction on the West Coast version has not been announced. The first Potter attraction, which opened at Universal Studios in Orlando in June 2010, will also be expanded.
Barry Meyer, the chairman-CEO of Warner Bros. said, “The future of Harry Potter is looking brighter today than ever.”
The "Wizarding World of Harry Potter" attraction features replicas of Hogwarts castle, Hogsmede village and other references to the popular books and films.
