Tom Sizemore's Missing 'Girlfriend' Found

Los Angeles Police Department(LOS ANGELES) -- Megan Wren, the 25-year-old Los Angeles woman who was reported missing last month, has been found and is with her father, according to TMZ.

Los Angeles police questioned actor Tom Sizemore about the disappearance this week, and the actor told TMZ, "I am relieved and happy Megan is safe and sound. It is unfortunate that she did not come forward immediately as this has caused me a lot of concern. However, I am pleased no harm has come to Megan and I wish her and her family the best and I am putting this matter behind me."

The family of the aspiring actress reported her missing April 29 after nearly a month without seeing her.

The case received little fanfare until word spread that Sizemore, known for his roles in "Saving Private Ryan" and "Pearl Harbor," was interviewed by police. The actor cooperated with the investigation and was not considered a suspect, according to police.

Sizemore's manager, Charles Lago, said the pair both lived in the same building in downtown Los Angeles and became friends.

Lago said Wren "was absolutely not his (Sizemore's) girlfriend," in response to the TMZ's assertion that Wren and Sizemore were in a romantic relationship.

"He has absolutely nothing to hide," Lago said.

Sizemore, 49, is currently in Germany visiting the troops and is not giving interviews on the subject.

Actor Tom Sizemore Questioned by Police Regarding Missing Woman

Jason Merritt/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Actor Tom Sizemore has been questioned by Los Angeles police regarding the disappearance of a 25-year-old female friend, his manager tells the New York Daily News. The LAPD says Megan Lacy Wren was last seen March 31, but Charles Lago, Sizemore’s manager, tells the newspaper he saw Wren at the actor’s apartment April 25.  Lago says Wren left the apartment and Sizemore spent the next week filming a movie and never saw her when he returned.

Lago says Sizemore has cooperated fully with police and even offered to let investigators search his home, but they said that wasn’t necessary.  Lago went on to say, “It’s my understanding he is not a suspect.”

TMZ describes Wren as Sizemore’s girlfriend and claims she has been living with the Saving Private Ryan star for six months prior to her disappearance, but Lago insists the two are not romantically involved.  He tells the Daily News, “She’s a girl he’s known for a long, long time, but she’s not Tom’s girlfriend.  She used to live in the same building...He tried to help her.”

That help refers to Wren’s reported battle with drug addiction, a struggle Sizemore shares.  Wren's father, Bill Wren, tells KABC-TV, his daughter has struggled with drug addiction and was recently hospitalized with a serious staph infection.  Bill Wren says, “She’s been in treatment before. [Sizemore] was trying to talk to her and help her get into a treatment for drug addiction.”

As for Sizemore's battle with addiction, Lago tells the Daily News that the actor is doing well and “has been clean and sober for almost two years.”
