Eddie Murphy and Toni Braxton Dating?

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Eddie Murphy and singer Toni Braxton are in a serious relationship, according to reports.

The two stars "are seeing each other and very into it," a source tells US Weekly.

Braxton very publicly detailed her challenging love life with estranged husband Keri Lewis on WeTV's Braxton Family Values and admitted that she had begun dating.

It appears that 50-year-old Murphy has been courting the 44-year-old singer for four months now. The Tower Heist star was even spotted backstage at Braxton's Feb. 19 concert in Los Angeles.

Still, Braxton's rep denies the two are romantically involved. "Toni and Eddie are just friends and have been fans of each other's work for a long time." However, a source claims "their kids have met and everything. It's getting very serious."

Previously, Murphy has been linked to former Spice Girl Melanie Brown. The two even have a 3-year-old daughter together. Murphy also has seven other children by various women, and was linked to the late Whitney Houston in the 1980s.

Last fall, Braxton dished to Anderson Cooper that she was dating a white man, telling the anchor, “I’m beginning to play in the snow a bit.” The R&B singer has two kids with her estranged husband.

Weezer Covers Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart'

Photo Courtesy - Epitaph(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- Weezer's forthcoming album, Death to False Metal, features songs that were recorded for their earlier albums but never made the final cut.  One of those tracks is a cover of Toni Braxton's smash R&B hit, "Unbreak My Heart," which is currently available for download at the band's website.

Frontman Rivers Cuomo told AmericanSongwriter.com that the cover, which was recorded back in 2005 for their album Make Believe, "was actually [producer] Rick Rubin's suggestion."  He admitted that he and Rubin both loved the song and that "we both thought it would be great for Weezer, and for my voice, and it’d be great to do like a rock version of it with more of an alternative aesthetic."

Death to False Metal will be in stores on Nov. 2 along with a re-issued version of Pinkerton.  Weezer's upcoming Memories tour kicks off on Nov. 26 in Los Angeles.

Toni Braxton Files for Bankruptcy

Photo Courtesy - Atlantic Recording Corp(LOS ANGELES) -- Toni Braxton reportedly filed for bankruptcy in Los Angeles in late September, claiming she owes between $10 million and $50 million to a number of creditors, including Neiman Marcus and Tiffany & Co. The singer, who previously filed for bankruptcy in 1998, says she's worth between $1 million and $10 million.

According to TMZ.com, Braxton's financial woes stem in part from the cancellation in 2008 of her Las Vegas show due to a reported heart condition. A relative of Braxton's tells the website that she owed money to the Flamingo Las Vegas hotel, the site of her residency, and the insurance company, through which she took out a policy related to the show, that refused to cover the debt because, it claimed, she had a pre-existing medical condition.
