Miley Cyrus Granted Restraining Order Against Convicted Trespasser

Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABC(LOS ANGELES) -- Miley Cyrus has obtained a temporary restraining order against a man who last month was convicted of trespassing at her Los Angeles home.

TMZ.com reports the order against Jason Luis Rivera was granted Oct. 30. Under the terms of the order, Rivera must stay at least one thousand yards away from Cyrus.

Rivera was arrested Sept. 8 after police say he sneaked onto Cyrus' property. He had a pair of scissors in his possession at the time, according to authorities.

Following his conviction, Rivera was sentenced to 18 months in jail.

Miley Cyrus Intruder Convicted of Trespassing

Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABC(LOS ANGELES) -- A man who allegedly snuck onto Miley Cyrus' property in Los Angeles last month was convicted of trespassing on Thursday, TMZ reports.

Police say Jason Luis Rivera jumped a fence surrounding Cyrus' home last month and was carrying a pair of scissors when apprehended.  Authorities say Rivera told officers he was on Cyrus' property because he wanted to see her.

Rivera was also found guilty of resisting arrest.  He faces up to 18 months behind bars.  His sentencing is scheduled for Friday.

Alleged Trespasser at Miley Cyrus' Home Pleads Not Guilty

Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABC(LOS ANGELES) -- The man accused of trespassing at Miley Cyrus' Los Angeles home pleaded not guilty to related charges on Monday.

Jason Luis Rivera, who was charged earlier in the day, entered the plea to charges of trespassing and resisting arrest, according to TMZ.com.  He was ordered to stay 500 yards away from the singer/actress.

Rivera is currently being held on $100,000 bail.  He's due in court on Sept. 17.

Rivera reportedly was in possession of scissors at the time of the incident, and he told police he is secretly married to Cyrus.  She's engaged to actor Liam Hemsworth.

Lindsay Lohan to Hire Bodyguard After Trespassing Incident

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan is ramping up security at her home in Venice Beach, Calif., after an unwelcome visitor paid her a visit Sunday evening.  She's adding security cameras and wants to hire a full-time bodyguard, according to TMZ.com.

A man named Lonnie Short knocked on Lohan's door on Sunday and asked to speak with her.  Short said he was a friend of Lohan's alleged stalker David Cocordan and he needed to "explain" things to her.

The Mean Girls star, speaking through the door, told him to leave her property, and she called police.  Short was arrested and remains in custody on $1,000 bail.

Trespasser Visits Lindsay Lohan's Home

Mark Boster-Pool/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan received an unwelcome visitor at her home in Venice Beach, California, Sunday evening.

According to TMZ.com, an "older gentleman" knocked on Lohan's door and asked to speak with her. The Mean Girls star, speaking through the door, told him to leave her property, but he demanded that she open the door for him.

Police were notified of the trespasser and arrested him.

Halle Berry Calls Police on Trespasser

Steve Granitz/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Halle Berry called the police twice this weekend, after seeing trespassers on her property in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ.com, an unidentified man got past Berry's "privacy wall" on Saturday and was standing in her front yard when the Oscar-winner saw him.  The man, whom TMZ speculates may have been a paparazzo, climbed over the wall and ran away after some people inside the home ran outside in an attempt to confront him.

The gossip site also reports that Berry again saw a trespasser on Sunday and contacted police. The person was gone by the time police arrived.
