Amanda Bynes Reportedly Kicked Out of Apartment; Fires Back at Lance Bass For 'Mental Problems' Comment

Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty Images)(NEW YORK) -- Amanda Bynes can't seem to stay out of trouble, and now it may have cost her a place to stay. In Touch Weekly reports the former Nickelodeon star was "tossed" from the Manhattan building at which she was arrested on May 23.

Bynes allegedly tossed a foot-long bong from her smoke-filled 36th floor apartment when cops were called over reports of pot use there. "Even before her arrest, residents had constant complaints about the smell of marijuana coming from her apartment," a source told In Touch Weekly. "She had also cursed out residents and the doormen, and the smell of pot from her apartment was really annoying people."

While she awaits the outcome of that arrest, however, the actress is keeping herself busy fighting with more stars online.

Once again she turned to Twitter to fire back at another celebrity -- this time, former 'N Sync band member, Lance Bass.

It began when Lance said during a radio interview that the 27-year-old troubled actress had "some mental problems," adding that he was "actually really scared for her."

"I ignored Lance Bass on twitter and now he is saying I have a mental illness. Sorry you're an ugly ex boy band member w/ no talent or career," Amanda fired back.

"I haven't spoken to Lance Bass in 11 years. To say I have a mental illness out of nowhere makes me lash out! You're making me crazy!" she added.

Lance apparently wasn't buying it.  He tweeted back to Amanda, "Now I really don't think this is Amanda -- we shot Love Wrecked together 7 years ago and she was just at my bday party 3 years ago. Hmmm 11?"

He added, "Ouch -- The Amanda I know would never had said something like this to me -- either this is a fake person or she really does have a mental illness. Way too sad. I reached out -- all i can do."

Lance, who as he said met Amanda on the set of Love Wrecked in 2005, is the latest celebrity to catch the actress' wrath. Courtney Love, John Legend's fiancé Chrissy Teigen and even Rihanna have also been sent nasty tweets.

Amanda Bynes Denies She Sent Rihanna Nasty Tweets

Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Amanda Bynes claims that the nasty tweets aimed at Rihanna that were attributed to her were not real. However, Bynes' explanation of how the tweets were created is even more puzzling.

Bynes apparently started a flame war with Rihanna on Sunday, according to TMZ, which snapped copies of the tweets before they were deleted. Among them, Bynes' feed featured tweets reading, "@rihanna Chris Brown beat you because you're not pretty enough," and "I almost named my dog Rihanna." Not having any of it, the singer fired back, "Ya see what happens when they cancel Intervention?" referring to the drug-themed show.

This apparently set Bynes off further, evidenced by a tweet reading, "@rihanna unlike ur fugly faced self I don't do drugs! U need the intervention dog! I met ur ugly face in person! U aren't pretty u know it!"

However, she took to Twitter on Monday in an attempt to clear things up, by claiming it wasn't her sending the tweets. Bynes explained, "I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I'm followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them!"

Bynes writes, "That's one of the mocked up images, they took photos of me from outside and morphed them onto someone else's body. I am allergic to marijuana and alcohol but I smoke tobacco. Why does Rihanna smoke weed and not get in trouble for it but I smoke tobacco and people think I'm on drugs? I refuse to be treated like someone I'm not, which is why I fought for myself and am suing everyone involved."

Bynes was arrested Thursday evening after a 911 call brought police to her New York City apartment building to investigate complaints of a marijuana smell in the lobby.  According to police, Bynes threw a bong out a window after allowing officers to enter her apartment.  She was arraigned and released on Friday morning a few hours after being arrested for tampering with physical evidence, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of marijuana.  Now, the 27-year-old denies she had taken any drugs prior to being arrested.

Bynes continues, "I don't need to go to rehab. There is never a drug or alcohol in my system! I'm sick of all the lies! What would you do if someone accused you of things you didn't do and yet you still had to be in jail at all over it! I'm so offended but I am so educated that I know cops cannot illegally enter my apartment, sexually harass me, arrest me, take me to a MENTAL HOSPITAL, then lock me up for a crime I didn't commit. I'm suing them all for this upsetting nightmare. My lawyer knows I'm a model citizen who doesn't partake in drugs. He's going to court this week to set the record straight again on my behalf. Thankfully I'm an educated multi-millionaire who knows better than to speak to perverted unjust cops without my lawyer."

Bynes's next scheduled court date is July 9.

Amanda Bynes' Erratic Behavior Prompts Calls for Help

Photo by Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Actress Amanda Bynes‘ increasingly erratic behavior has concerned onlookers pleading for someone to help her.

A friend grew so concerned this week that he asked police to check on Bynes. In an interview with ABC News, Jonathan Jaxson, a Hollywood publicist and the actress’ friend, said he got worried after talking to Bynes.

“She started ranting and she was drunk out of her mind.  She said, ‘I don’t want to live anymore,’” Jaxson said.

Jaxson, who was 1,500 miles away from the New York-based Bynes, tweeted his concern and asked New York City police to check on his friend. Bynes has displayed months of apparently bizarre behavior, including tweeting a topless photo of herself earlier this week.

Bynes, a former child star whose recent movie hits include Hairspray and Easy A, also tweeted an image of herself wearing just a bra and what appeared to be pantyhose this week.

“About to put on makeup!” she wrote in a tweet to her more than 896,000 followers. “I weigh 135, I’ve gained weight! I need to be 100 lbs!”

Last month the 27-year-old tweeted photos of her partially shaved head. She also took to Twitter to denounce media reports she claims are inaccurate.

Bynes’ behavior has prompted concerns about her physical and mental well-being. Following Jaxson’s tweet, actress Jenny McCarthy tweeted “police are at Amanda Bynes house. I hope they get her help. Enough of this circus.” That prompted Bynes to lash out at McCarthy, too.

“You’re ugly! Police weren’t at my house, old lady! Shut the f*** up!” Bynes tweeted Thursday  in response to McCarthy, her former What I Like About You co-star.

Bynes has since apologized to McCarthy and deleted the angry tweets she wrote. In a November article in Us Weekly magazine, McCarthy described Bynes as “unreachable.”

“My heart feels for whatever she is going through and I love her dearly,” McCarthy told the magazine.

McCarthy is not the only one who’s worried about Bynes.

“Every photo she posts she’s alone!! I can’t take it.  I want to cry,” Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards tweeted about Bynes.

As far back as November, another of Bynes’ former What I Like About You co-stars, Jennie Garth, described her as “unreachable.”

“My heart feels for whatever she is going through and I love her dearly,” Garth told Us Weekly magazine.

Howard Bragman, a public relations expert and ABC News consultant, addressed the concerns expressed for Bynes.

“We know how things like this can end up, and nobody wants to be the one who says I should have done something,” he said. “It’s clear something needs to be done, and she’s a part of this community. “

Reports Rapper Lil Wayne Near Death Spark Twitter Frenzy

Kevin Winter/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Conflicting reports that rapper “Lil Wayne” was near death whipped the twittersphere into a frenzy Friday evening, and a tweet from the rapper’s official account saying he was alive and well was retweeted 100,000 times in less than 45 minutes.

“I’m good everybody.  Thx for the prayers and love,” read the tweet from the rapper’s official Twitter account.

Celebrity website TMZ had reported earlier in the evening that the rapper was on life support after being hospitalized following a series of seizures, and that doctors had pumped his stomach three times in an attempt to flush substances from his system.

“Wayne is doing well,” Vickie Charles, senior publicity director for Wayne’s record label, Cash Money Records, told ABC News Radio.

Friends of Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., also took to social media to counter reports the Grammy-winning rapper was at death’s door.

Cash Money president Mack Maine tweeted, “Wayne is alive and well!”

A spokesperson for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center told ABC News that because of privacy laws the hospital could not confirm or deny that Carter was being treated there.

"The Onion" Apologizes for Vulgar Tweet About Quvenzhané Wallis

Kevork Djansezian/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The Onion, a satirical news site, apologized Monday for a crude tweet posted during the Oscars about Quvenzhané Wallis, the 9-year-old actress nominated for best actress for her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild.

“Everyone else seems afraid to say it, but Quvenzhané Wallis is kind of a c***, right?” read the tweet, which was deleted about an hour after it was posted.

While some of Oscars host Seth MacFarlane’s jokes Sunday night were met with cool silence inside the Dolby Theater, Twitter users lashed back at The Onion for its tweet.

Steve Hannah, CEO of The Onion, apologized today, saying, “No person should be subjected to such a senseless, humorless comment masquerading as satire.”

“It was crude and offensive — not to mention inconsistent with The Onion’s commitment to parody and satire, however biting,” he wrote in a statement posted on the website.

Hannah said the unidentified employees behind the tweet would be disciplined.

Wallis, who played Hushpuppy in Beasts of the Southern Wild, was also ribbed during the awards broadcast by MacFarlane. He quipped at one point that “it’ll be 16 years before she’s too old for” George Clooney.

‘CutforBieber’ Hashtag Goes Viral on Twitter

DISNEYLAND/MARK ASHMAN(NEW YORK) -- A hashtag urging Justin Bieber fans to cut themselves went viral on Twitter on Monday but it turns out it was just a prank.

The hashtag, “cutforbieber” was started in response to published photos of the “Boyfriend” singer smoking what appeared to be marijuana.

Some Twitter users posted photos of their supposed self-mutilation along with the hashtag while others called the trend “stupid,” “disgusting” and “disrespectful.”

But many of the tweets of self-mutilation photos appeared to be fake. One fake account tweeted, “I cut because you use drugs. This world is meaningless.”

A representative for Bieber declined to comment.

The hashtag was reportedly started as a prank by members of a 4Chan message board, which is known for being offensive.

Miley Cyrus fought back against the hashtag, tweeting, "If people are really saying they are gonna cut themselves cuz Justin Bieber could’ve smoked some weed the world really is coming to an end!”

Bieber has been the target of Twitter pranks before. Last fall a “baldforbieber” hashtag went viral after a false report that the Biebs was diagnosed with cancer. The rumor was reportedly also started by 4chan.

New Twitter Account Takes On ‘Modern’ Seinfeld

Heidi Gutman/Bravo(NEW YORK) -- The world has changed significantly since Seinfeld went off the air 14 years ago. But thanks to a new Twitter account, @SeinfeldToday, we’re getting a taste of what traumas Jerry Seinfeld and the gang might wrestle with today.

Barely 24 hours old, @SeinfeldToday already had more than 60,000 followers, and it’s racking up retweets with such potential plot points as “Elaine has a bad waiter at a nice restaurant. Her negative Yelp review goes viral, she gets banned. Kramer accidentally joins the Tea Party.”

The man behind the account, comedian Jack Moore, the editor of BuzzFeed Sports, said he’s surprised but thrilled by the reaction.

“I was online last night and saw some tweets from a friend that asked the question, what if Seinfeld was still on the air?” said Moore.

A Seinfeld addict, Moore said he immediately created the account and started tweeting. The Twitter page gives credit to his friend and fellow comedian Josh Gondelman, who sent out the first tweets Sunday evening.

Moore claims he’s seen every episode of Seinfeld five times.

Many of @SeinfeldToday’s tweets focus on the Internet and technology. It’s not difficult to imagine the problems Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer would have with Wi-Fi, social media and autocorrect -- all of which were in their infancy when Seinfeld went off the air.

@SeinfeldToday: “Elaine pretends to live in Brooklyn to date a cute, younger guy. Kramer becomes addicted to 5 Hour Energy. George’s parents get Skype.”

The growth of the account has been fueled by what Moore calls "an infinite number of plots.” The account has been updated dozens of times since the launch, and although Moore says he’s sticking with Twitter for now, he believes there could be opportunities to expand the concept.

“So much of comedy these days depends on the Internet, and I think Jerry Seinfeld (the character) would have a difficult time building an audience online,” said Moore.”And his struggles would form some very funny plot lines, in addition to his reactions to all the material he’d find on the Internet.”

Thanks to syndication and the show’s cult following, Seinfeld is still one of TV’s most-talked-about shows. It will forever be known as the “show about nothing,” but imagining those quirky characters in today’s world would give them a lot to talk about.

Judging from the rapid growth of @SeinfeldToday, they would probably have an audience to share it with too.

After Obama Victory, Donald Trump Rants on Twitter

Mike Stobe/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- It’s Donald Trump vs. the world in the wake of President Obama’s second-term win. Late Tuesday, after Obama’s victory over Mitt Romney was certain, the billionaire real estate mogul and one-time 2012 presidential contender tweeted, “Well, back to the drawing board!”

He got more disgruntled as the night went on.

“We can’t let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty,” Trump continued. "Our nation is totally divided! Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us. This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!"

And then:

“Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble…like never before. Our nation is a once great nation divided! The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy. Hopefully the House of Representatives can hold our country together for four more years…stay strong and never give up! House of Representatives shouldn’t give anything to Obama unless he terminates Obamacare.”

And lest we forget:

“This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!”

Hollywood was quick to hate on him.

Alec Baldwin tweeted, ”@realdonaldtrump. You trust the voters when they choose The Apprentice. But not now?”

“Hey Trump, did you see Mitt Romney’s concession speech? That’s what graciousness and good hair looks like,” “Modern Family” executive producer Steve Levitan wrote.

Mark Ruffalo tweeted, "Donald Trump just called for a Revolution. Doesn’t like democracy I guess.”

Here's how other celebrities reacted on Twitter late Tuesday and early Wednesday to the news of President Obama's re-election:

-- Katy Perry: "DONE AND DUSTED!!!"

-- Eva Longoria: "We did it!!! Obama re-elected!!!!! Yes!! Yes We Can!"

-- Mark Ruffalo: "Obama just took Ohio!!!!! ITs over. TKO WE HAVE OUR PRESIDENT!!! BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!!!"

Mariah, Beyonce and More Stars Urged Fans to Vote on Election Day

@foofighters(NEW YORK) -- With Election Day upon us, celebrities have pushed their fans to the polls.

As if her earrings hadn’t made it clear enough, Beyonce posted a letter endorsing President Obama on her website. “Every day we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves,” she wrote. “You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be.”

Melissa Joan Hart tweeted her support for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan, writing, “Can’t get too political in only 140 chac but for those asking, I’m voting #RomneyRyan.” (She defended her stance in subsequent tweets, writing “Probably lost a few jobs in Hollywood with my political views. So sad the ‘tolerant left’ is anything but!”)

Sarah Jessica Parker made her choice clear with the Viva Obama shirt she wore to the polls. After posing for NYC paparazzi, she yelled at them to go vote.

Mariah Carey turned voting into a photo session, documenting her time at the polls on Instagram and Twitter. "Let your vote be heard!!! Four more years!” she tweeted.

Joan Rivers had a friend hold her spot in one of New York’s many long polling lines while she went to the doctor. She tweeted this from the exam room with the message: “Why oh why is this patriotic American citizen still single?” She later returned to her polling spot to vote and tweeted, “Left Dr Nicholas and my gorgeous shorts behind and now back to find my darling Eric on line and vote. Perfect timing!”

Gabrielle Union: "I have republican friends. We don’t insult each other, we respectfully disagree & … WE VOTE! I vote #Obama2012!#NoNegativityZone”

A few were more blunt about their choice:

Spike Lee: “Today We Got 99 Problems But A MITT Ain’t One.(With Love To My Brother Jay-Z).BROOKLYN STAND UP.We’re Ridin’ With Our President Obama.VOTE”

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson
: "Before I vote – final question.. who wakes up first and starts kickin’ a** before sunrise? @MittRomney or @BarackObama #CINC

Jennifer Love Hewitt: “I find voting super sexy! Go vote!”

Donald Trump (on Facebook): “Me voting -- it really is my hair!”
