Jersey Shore's Vinny Says Sorry for Controversial Rap

Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Vinny Guadagnino, one of the stars of MTV's Jersey Shore, has apologized and removed a video he posted on his YouTube page after a scathing review from a sex assault advocacy group.

A spokesperson for RAINN, the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network told TMZ that the lyrics to Vinny's "Rack City" "glorify rape," and "sends a dangerous message to the public." The sexually-charged song has Vinny rapping about having sex with a stripper and includes the line, "Actin' like I'm raping it."

Vinny initially posted a lighthearted apology, saying the "fun" song was taken "out of context," but later blogged a more sober mea culpa: "I am 100 percent against violence of any kind," Vinny posted. "I work with many organizations to stop violence and bullying, and will continue to.  It's something I strongly believe in. Very sorry to anyone I've offended."

MTV Institutes Zero Tolerance Policy for 'Jersey Shore' Cast Members

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- MTV is putting its foot down when it comes to Jersey Shore cast members walking off the show without permission, according to TMZ.

After both Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino bolted and threatened to leave the show for good in recent weeks, the network has gotten tough and issued a zero tolerance policy for all cast members.

What does that mean?  If anyone tries to flee the reality series again, they will be fired, and the remainder of their very lucrative contract will be terminated. It has been reported that the cast members are getting more than $100,000 per episode.

Vinny Guadagnino Returns to 'Jersey Shore'

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- Vinny Guadagnino couldn't stay away from the Jersey Shore for long, according to TMZ.

The 23-year-old was spotted carrying his belongings back into the cast's Seaside Heights, New Jersey pad on Saturday just a few hours after he joined his fellow cast mates at "dinner and a club," reports the site.

On July 1, Guadagnino reportedly moved out of the house "for good" to return to Staten Island, New York just as season five shooting on the reality show kicked off in New Jersey.

Jersey Shore's episodes shot in Italy will premiere Aug. 4 on MTV.

Is The Situation Quitting MTV's 'Jersey Shore'?

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- MTV may have a situation on their hands.

Us Weekly is reporting that just days after Vinny Guadagnino dropped out of Jersey Shore's fifth season, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino has now decided to do the same thing.

An insider told the magazine, "Mike walked off the show.  He's so over the whole thing.  I don't think he's coming back.  Everyone in the house is so unhappy."

The remainder of the cast recently returned to Seaside Heights, New Jersey to begin shooting the fifth season.  Jersey Shore's much-hyped shot-in-Italy episodes will kick off on Aug. 4 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.

Is Vinny Guadagnino Done with 'Jersey Shore'?

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- The upcoming season five of Jersey Shore could be one member short.

USMagazine.com reports that following Vinny Guadagnino’s return to the Seaside Heights house after his departure last Wednesday, Guadagnino left the New Jersey house again on Friday, and this time he might not return.

A source told the magazine, “Vinny being the youngest of the bunch, it's a long time to be away from his family.  He left and is home [in Staten Island].  I don't think he will be back."

The gang began filming season five last Monday after taking a short break following the cast members' return from their trip to Italy, where the fourth season of the hit series was shot.

In a statement, a rep for MTV said, "We don't comment on series while they are in production but viewers can be assured they will have answers when season five premieres."

Jersey Shore’s episodes shot in Italy will premiere Aug. 4 on MTV.
