Jersey Shore's Vinny Says Sorry for Controversial Rap

Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Vinny Guadagnino, one of the stars of MTV's Jersey Shore, has apologized and removed a video he posted on his YouTube page after a scathing review from a sex assault advocacy group.

A spokesperson for RAINN, the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network told TMZ that the lyrics to Vinny's "Rack City" "glorify rape," and "sends a dangerous message to the public." The sexually-charged song has Vinny rapping about having sex with a stripper and includes the line, "Actin' like I'm raping it."

Vinny initially posted a lighthearted apology, saying the "fun" song was taken "out of context," but later blogged a more sober mea culpa: "I am 100 percent against violence of any kind," Vinny posted. "I work with many organizations to stop violence and bullying, and will continue to.  It's something I strongly believe in. Very sorry to anyone I've offended."

MTV Institutes Zero Tolerance Policy for 'Jersey Shore' Cast Members

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- MTV is putting its foot down when it comes to Jersey Shore cast members walking off the show without permission, according to TMZ.

After both Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Vinny Guadagnino bolted and threatened to leave the show for good in recent weeks, the network has gotten tough and issued a zero tolerance policy for all cast members.

What does that mean?  If anyone tries to flee the reality series again, they will be fired, and the remainder of their very lucrative contract will be terminated. It has been reported that the cast members are getting more than $100,000 per episode.
