'Anchorman' Ron Burgundy Meets The Press

Peter Kramer/NBC(WASHINGTON) -- Actor and comedian Will Ferrell, better known to journalists as the infamous, and inappropriate, anchorman Ron Burgundy, stopped by the White House briefing room Friday afternoon. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney gave Ferrell a brief tour of the press room and let him test drive the podium.

Ferrell is in D.C. to attend a Kennedy Center celebration in his honor. This Sunday, he will receive the Mark Twain Prize for American humor.

Arianna Huffington's Mile-High Incident

Photo Courtesy - Joe Corrigan/Getty Images for Macy's(NEW YORK) -- Arianna Huffington, the woman behind The Huffington Post, got into a bit of trouble over the weekend when she reportedly refused to shut down her BlackBerry on a flight from Washington to New York.

A fellow passenger got very upset, especially when he learned that the phone was on after takeoff.

The argument became heated and police met the plane after landing. There were no arrests.
