Melissa Gilbert Marries Timothy Busfield

@MelissaEGilbert/Twitter(SANTA BARBARA, Calif.) --Wearing a red strapless gown, Melissa Gilbert exchanged wedding vows with “Thirtysomething” star Timothy Busfield in California on Wednesday.

The “Dancing With the Stars” alum confirmed the news on Twitter today, posting a picture of herself and Busfield in a field surrounded by flowers and telling fans, “Thanks for all the well wishes.”

Gilbert’s rep told People magazine that the couple tied the knot “in a private ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara on April 24.”

San Ysidro Ranch has been the site of many famous weddings. Gilbert pointed out on Twitter that “Lawrence Olivier and Vivian Leigh were married &John and Jackie Kennedy honeymooned there!!”

Shunning traditional wedding white, the “Little House on the Prairie” star went for the bold scarlet-tiered strapless gown instead. Busfield chose a dark suit.

“The color spoke volumes,” she told People magazine. “Passion, fire, love: Red says all of those things to me.”

Still, the “Little House on the Prairie” star, 48, admitted that dress shopping was not an easy process.

“It was quite a search,” she said. “[But] the moment I saw it, I knew.”

And now, it’s something that she and Busfield, 55, will treasure forever.

“The dress will always hold our precious, precious memories,” she said.

Gilbert’s choice of color may have been because this is not her first time at the altar. A mother of two, Gilbert, 48, was previously married to Bo Brinkman and Bruce Boxleitner.

Busfield, 55, was also married twice before, and has three children.

The pair has reportedly known each other for two decades, before becoming engaged over the Christmas holidays.

Miley Cyrus Denies She Called Off Wedding

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Contrary to rumor, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still getting married.

Cyrus decided to squash any rumors about her engagement to The Hunger Games actor via Twitter on Wednesday.

She tweeted, "I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining"

However, a source close to Cyrus tells People magazine that the couple has been going through a bit of a rough patch.

The source said, "The wedding is still on.  Miley and Liam have had some problems that they are working through.  Miley doesn't think it's a big deal.  She loves Liam and can't wait to marry him."

The upcoming March 18 issue of Us Weekly features the headline "Miley & Liam: Wedding Is Off!" splashed on the cover.  The magazine cites a source close to the couple who claims they nixed the wedding.

Miley Cyrus Opens Up About Wedding Plans

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may be two of the hottest stars in Hollywood right now, but their wedding will likely be low-key.

“When the wedding does happen, it’s probably going to be a small, intimate one,” Cyrus’ mother, Tish Cyrus, said in an interview with People magazine. The interview is included in the issue that hit newsstands Friday.

Cyrus, 20, and her mother are on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress, and earlier this month they attended Marchesa’s Fall 2013 fashion show to look at bridal gowns.

“They make the most amazing dresses. They are definitely one of our options,” Cyrus said, speaking of the designer.

Cyrus also said she and Hemsworth, 23, haven’t talked specifics about their wedding plans. She said her fiancé is “pretty laid-back about everything."

“It’s the best thing ever,” Cyrus said. “To know that I found the person I want to be with forever is pretty awesome. He’s everything I want.”

Hemsworth and Cyrus met in 2009 while co-starring in The Last Song, a film about two teens who fall in love.

Cyrus became famous playing the Disney Channel character Hannah Montana, and Hemsworth starred in the hit film The Hunger Games.

Justin Timberlake Apologizes for ‘Distasteful’ Video

Kevin Mazur/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Justin Timberlake has apologized for a gag video featuring homeless people congratulating him and his new wife, Jessica Biel, on their wedding.

In a letter posted on his website, Timberlake said the “silly, unsavory” and “distasteful” video was “made as a joke and not in any way in mockery."

“I had no knowledge of its existence. I had absolutely ZERO contribution to it,” he wrote. “My friends are good people. This was clearly a lapse in judgment which I’m sure no one who is reading this is exempt from. But, I don’t believe it was made to be insensitive.”

Timberlake also denied that the video was played at his Puglia, Italy wedding last week. He concluded, “I want to say that, on behalf of my friends, family, and associative knuckleheads, I am deeply sorry to anyone who was offended by the video. Again, it was something that I was not made aware of. But, I do understand the reaction and, by association, I am holding myself accountable.”

An excerpt of the video, produced by Timberlake’s longtime friend, real estate agent Justin Huchel, was leaked on Gawker earlier this week. Gawker also posted a letter from Huchel’s lawyer threatening legal action against the website for posting the video.

In the 20-second excerpt, which begins with the caption “Greetings from your Hollywood friends who just couldn’t make it,” a toothless man says, “Justin and Jessica, I haven’t seen you for a long time. My gift is in the mail.”

That’s followed by a transsexual man who offers, “Good luck and watch your man.”

A bearded man with no shirt says to the camera, “Justin, Jessica, it’s me — Robert,” as if he knows them.

The gag video ends with a written message, “Love Huch and Rachel.”

Huchel’s attorney, Michael J. Saltz, made it clear that the video, which he said was stolen, was meant as a private joke.

“Mr. Huchel made a video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake’s wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake’s knowledge,” Saltz wrote in the letter that was also posted on Gawker.

Timberlake and Biel revealed the details of their wedding in this week’s issue of People magazine. They reportedly sold their wedding photos to the mag for $300,000.

Are Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Getting Married This Week?

Kevin Mazur/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- After dating for five years, which included a 10-month engagement, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are set to wed this week in southern Italy, multiple sources tell US Weekly.

A source tells the magazine, "They are ready to get married."  The source says only close friends and family have been invited to the intimate, rustic ceremony, and the pair have taken "extra precautions" to ensure the location is not released.

It seems that Biel has expanding her family on the brain as she tweeted last week, "If I got a dollar every time someone told me to name my future kid 'Batmo' I'd almost have enough to pay for therapy for a kid named Batmo."

Timberlake proposed to Biel in late December 2011 in Jackson, Wyo., while the couple was vacationing.
