Will Ferrell Stars in Super Bowl Ad that Virtually No One Saw Live

Peter Kramer/NBC(NEW YORK) -- The celebrity who had the most awkward kiss in a Super Bowl commercial this year: Bar Refaeli, who engaged in a prolonged smooch with a nerd in a spot.  The runner-up: Will Ferrell, in an ad for Old Milwaukee beer.

Don't remember seeing Ferrell during the big game?  You're far from the only one.  His ad reportedly aired in only three markets: Sherman, Texas; Ardmore, Okla.; and Glendive, Mont.

In the minute-long commercial, Ferrell sports a moustache and basketball jersey -- he resembles his character in his basketball comedy Semi-Pro -- while making out with an older Asian woman on a bus.  Viewers briefly see that a passenger sitting a few rows in front of them is holding a bag containing Old Milwaukee beer.

A Chinese song, identified on Reddit as "Mother, Where Are You?," plays throughout the ad.

Ferrell also starred in a Super Bowl ad for Old Milwaukee last year that aired in one market, North Platte, Neb.

Will Ferrell Calls Kristen Stewart a ‘Trampire’ on Conan

Peter Kramer/NBC(LOS ANGELES) -- Funnyman Will Ferrell, 45, appeared on Conan Thursday night to promote his new movie, The Campaign, but his heart just wasn’t in it.

That’s because Ferrell was distraught thinking about the fate of the former couple, Kristen Stewart, 22, and Robert Pattinson, 26, after Stewart’s apology for her “momentary indiscretion” with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

Ferrell welled up when he explained his woes to O’Brien about the Twilight franchise couple’s cheating scandal.

“She cheated on him, and they’re broken up and they aren’t going to get back together ever,” Ferrell said.

“They were in love and she just threw it all away!” said Ferrell.

While O’Brien tried to comfort his guest, Ferrell made it clear that he was on Team Pattinson, calling Stewart a “trampire.”

As Ferrell wailed on about the couple, he raised a question on many a Twihard’s mind -- what will happen when the former duo has to face each other to promote the final installment of the Twilight saga come November?

Nancy Kirkpatrick, president of worldwide marketing for Summit, the studio behind the Twilight saga, told Entertainment Weekly, “While it is studio policy not to comment on the personal lives of actors, Summit is moving full steam ahead and looking forward to this November’s opening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 2.

Meanwhile, Rupert Sanders’ wife, Liberty Ross, is laying down the law in the wake of his indiscretions with Stewart. RadarOnline reported that the The Snow White and the Huntsman director was looking forward to directing a follow-up to the film, but his wife may prevent him from doing so.

“Liberty let it be known in no uncertain terms that Rupert can’t direct the sequel. She just doesn’t want him to ever work with Kristen again,” said a source to RadarOnline.

Gordon Ramsay, Will Ferrell Injured at Charity Soccer Match

ABC News(LONDON) -- He’s known for his aggression in the kitchen and is a former Scottish amateur soccer player, but Hell’s Kitchen chef Gordon Ramsay ended up flat on his back at a charity soccer match on Sunday, reports People.

The Michelin-starred restaurateur took part in a pro-celebrity game on behalf of the charity Soccer Aid in Manchester, England. He was tackled hard by former England national star Teddy Sheringham and had to be administered with oxygen on the sidelines before being taken to a local hospital. Tweeting to his fans on Monday, Ramsay wrote, “Thx 4 all the messages. Out of hospital after receiving amazing care from medics at ground & hospital. Bit sore but fine.”

Another casualty of the supposedly friendly game was actor Will Ferrell, who apparently sustained a leg injury. Despite the injuries, the match, which also featured Woody Harrelson, Mike Myers and Ed Norton, raised $6.4 million for charity.
