(GLASGOW, Scotland) -- Brad Pitt played the role of superhero on the set of his new movie, World War Z, in Glasgow, Scotland, on Thursday. The Scottish Sun reports that Pitt was shooting a scene for his new zombie movie involving more than 700 extras. One of the female extras filming the huge zombie invasion scene fell to the ground and was nearly trampled by hundreds of people, but without hesitating, Pitt helped the woman get up and back on her feet before she got crushed.
A set source told The Scottish Sun, "Lots of people hurt themselves and Brad came to the rescue of one woman who slipped. I don't think she could believe it when Brad picked her up." The source added, "He didn't have time to speak to her as it was mid-shoot. But she said afterwards how grateful she was, despite having a badly grazed knee."
