"The Americans" Tops Television Critics Association's Nominations List

Frank Ockenfels/FX(NEW YORK) -- The Television Critics Association has announced its nominees for the 2013 TCA Awards.

The FX series The Americans leads the way with four nominations, including in the program of the year category.  AMC's Breaking Bad, also a contender for program of the year, racked up three nods.

The other nominees for program of the year are HBO's Game of Thrones, AMC's The Walking Dead, and the Netflix drama House of Cards.

The winners will be announced at an invitation-only event in Beverly Hills, Calif., on Aug. 3.
