Tori Spelling: ‘Things Are Getting Better’ with Dean McDermott

ABC/Lou Rocco(NEW YORK) -- Although it has been a rocky year for Tori Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, after his open admission to having an affair made headlines, Spelling confirmed on Wednesday, “Things are getting better.”

The actress, 41, appeared alongside longtime friend and fellow 90210 superstar Jennie Garth on ABC's Good Morning America on Wednesday to promote their new ABC Family show, Mystery Girls. But Spelling didn’t hesitate to address the status of her marriage.

“Life is always a work in progress and our relationship is one as well, so we’re moving in the right direction,” she explained.

Spelling added that she had “no regrets” about how shockingly raw and honest she and McDermott were about their tumultuous relationship on their Lifetime show, True Tori, which allowed cameras inside the couple’s therapy sessions.

“It was my personal journey and I have no regrets,” she said on GMA.

Spelling and Garth’s new show, Mystery Girls, is about two former television detective-show starlets who decide to become sleuths in real life, and the two 90210 stars are thrilled to be working together again.

“It’s like a dream come true,” Spelling said.

The world premiere of Mystery Girls airs Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
