'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' Stays on Top of Box Office

Dave Hogan/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- The Hollywood blockbuster "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" took in $47 million in its second week and remained at the top of the box office.

Despite two hard-hitting comedies released on Friday, "Horrible Bosses" from Warner Bros., and "Zoo Keeper" from Sony Pictures, "Transformers" seems to be securely in the top. And hopes to stay that way, at least until the highly-anticipated final installment of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

The Michael Bay extravaganza about protean aliens has earned $261 million since opening.
