Woman in Brett Favre Scandal Speaks Out

Hunter Martin/Philadelphia Eagles/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Jenn Sterger, the former New York Jets game-day hostess and model who was embroiled in a tabloid scandal after racy photos and voicemails allegedly from NFL quarterback Brett Favre surfaced, tells ABC News in an exclusive interview that she just wanted to do her job.

"I haven't made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures. Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine," she said.

"I'm not a gold-digger," she said. "The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job."

Favre -- a three-time MVP with more than $7 million in endorsements -- became known for more than his playing in October 2010, when the sports blog posted voicemails and nude pictures Favre allegedly sent to Sterger when he played for the Jets in 2008. Favre has admitted to leaving the voicemails but not to sending inappropriate pictures of himself.

The NFL did not conclude that Favre sent the messages, but fined him $50,000 in December 2010, reprimanding him for not being "candid in several respects during the investigation, resulting in a longer review and additional negative public attention," the league said.

Sterger says the ordeal has turned her life "upside down."
"You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job," she said. "But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That's all I wanted."

The full interview with Sterger will air on Tuesday and Wednesday on ABC’s Good Morning America, and on Tuesday night on Nightline.
