'Girls Gone Wild' Creator Found Not Guilty in Civil Suit

(PANAMA CITY, Fla.) -- A federal jury of eight women in Panama City, Fla. decided Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis isn't liable for the emotional distress four women claimed to have suffered after appearing in his racy videos. The anonymous plaintiffs claimed they were ridiculed and forced to leave school after they were spotted in the videos, which famously show women flashing their breasts -- or in some cases, performing X-rated sex acts -- for Francis' cameras, usually for nothing more than a free t-shirt.  The women were minors at the time they were recorded.

After the verdict, Francis, 38, told the Panama City News Herald, "I'm just happy it's over. This thing has dragged on long enough." The four plaintiffs sued in 2008.

David Arquette Still Staying Sober

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Scream 4 actor David Arquette's road to sobriety is apparently going well. The actor took to Twitter to say he's as dry as a bone: "I have 100 days of Sobriety today!!! Life is beautiful. :D"

The actor hit a rough patch last year after his 11-year marriage to Courteney Cox collapsed. The pair are keeping things amicable, and are often seen out together with their six-year-old daughter, Coco.

Alec Baldwin Wants 'Five More Seasons' of '30 Rock'

PRNewsFoto/Turner Classic Movies(LOS ANGELES) -- Alec Baldwin is backing off his claim that 30 Rock will end after next season.

The Emmy-winning actor made waves earlier this week by telling New York magazine the critically-acclaimed comedy wound conclude its run after next season, when his contracts expires, as well as that of fellow star Tina Fey.  However, he changed his opinion in his regular column on The Huffington Post Thursday.

"Gosh,” he wrote, “I want to take the opportunity to state that although my days on network TV may be numbered, I hope 30 Rock goes on forever.  Or at least as long as everyone involved desires.  Next year hopefully won't be the last.  Kenneth can run the network.  Jenna will get her own talk show.  Tracy will become mayor of New York.  Then resign to go raise exotic reptiles.  And Lemon will go do.... just about anything she sets her mind to.  Here's to five more seasons."

MTV Spinning Off Snooki and Two 'Jersey Shore' Pals

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- For Jersey Shore fans bummed that the fourth season is temporarily on hold due to cast contract negotiations, help is on the way.

MTV has given the green light to two spin-off series, one starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley, and another centering on Paul "DJ Pauly D" Delvecchio.  All three Jersey Shore cast members shot pilots for their prospective shows after the cameras finished rolling on season three, and now both shows have been given full season orders of 12 episodes each.

Both shows have yet to get titles, but according to a press release, the Snooki/JWoww show will let fans "see how they deal with life and love when the vacation is over," while Pauly's reality show centers on his regular job: cameras will follow his "jet-setting and often hilarious life on the road as one of the country's most in-demand DJs."

Pia Toscano Voted Off in 'American Idol' Shocker

PRNewsFoto/Zumobi(LOS ANGELES) -- The American Idol audience erupted in boos and jeers as Pia Toscano was voted off on Thursday's results show.

Toscano said goodbye with a performance of "I'll Stand by You" by The Pretenders.  Jacob Lusk and Stefano Langone were in the bottom three, but they'll be around next week.

American Idol's top eight perform on next Wednesday's show at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox.  Kelly Clarkson will return on next Thursday's results show to perform her number-one country hit with Jason Aldean, "Don't You Wanna Stay."
