Lady Gaga Gets Job as Columnist for 'V Magazine'

Bruce Glikas/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) -- Lady Gaga is already a singer, songwriter, political activist, creative director for Polaroid and a fashion icon.  So why not add yet another line to her resume?

On her Twitter page, Gaga announced that starting in May she'll be writing a column on fashion and art for V Magazine, whose cover she graced in 2009 and 2010.

On its website, V Magazine says, "Each issue, Mother Monster will put pen to page, bringing us an editorial window into her fashion multiverse."

And, Gaga being Gaga, she's getting her fans involved in the project, too.  The singer wants one of her fans to design the picture that will be attached to her column.

Fans can go to V Magazine's website and submit their original artwork depicting Gaga "dressed in her most studious ensemble."  She and the magazine will pick the winning entry, and that will serve as her author head shot for the column.

Those interested can submit their drawings to drawnthisway@vmagazine.com between now and Sunday night.  The winner will be chosen April 4.

Carson Daly Says 'F That' to Britney Spears Interview Restrictions

Jive Records(LOS ANGELES) -- Carson Daly took to his Twitter page this week to blow off some steam regarding an interview that was in the works with Britney Spears.

Daly and Britney, who've known each other since Brit was 15, were going to do a radio interview, but Daly says he was told that the interview had to be pre-recorded, edited and then approved by Britney's handlers before it hits the air.

Once the conditions of the interview reached Daly, he tweeted “I was just TOLD my Britney Spears interview tomorrow...MUST be pre-recorded & submitted for approval by HER management before it can air!” Outraged, he closed the tweet with, “F THAT!”

Then, in a series of tweets responding to comments by his followers, Daly tweeted that no interview he's ever done has ever been “that restricted,” adding, "Even when I interviewed Michael Jackson, it wasn’t anything like this. It’s really insane." Later he tweeted, “[I'm] just shocked her management won’t let her do a normal interview.”  But in Britney’s defense, he said, "She probably doesn’t even know," and added, "This has nothing to do with her, just her people."

Matthew McConaughey Loves His Babies' Mama

Mark Sullivan/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Sorry, ladies.  Matthew McConaughey only has eyes for one woman.  The actor, currently starring on the big screen in The Lincoln Lawyer, tells Esquire he wants to spend forever with his partner, Camila Alves, the mother of his two children.  McConaughey said, "I found the woman I wanna do it with, the woman I wanna make a family with, hopefully live our life out together." He added, "She needs to have 50 percent of that.  I mean, it's a lot easier for me to be at 100 percent.  I'd always been 100 percent.  It's braver for me at 50 percent."

McConaughey also said there's more to him than the laid-back dude he's often portrayed as in the media, noting, "Do I think the image of me is a true picture of who I am?  No, it's incomplete.  Am I a fun-loving guy, man?  Who likes running around in the summer with his shirt off, man?  Am I a guy who likes to hang out with his friends, and party and go to concerts and football games with his friends?  Well, yeah!  Yes, I am.  Always have been.  Always hopefully will be.  You know?"

Will Ferrell Will Only Be an 'Office' Temp

Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Will Ferrell isn't looking for an office job, after all.  The actor raised eyebrows last weekend when he told Entertainment Weekly his upcoming guest appearance on The Office was going to evolve into "a regular full-time gig."  Well, it turns out the funnyman was just being, well, funny.

Paul Lieberstein, a writer-producer on the NBC sitcom who also plays Toby, tells New York magazine, "Will was joking -- but he commits to his jokes so fully that we're hoping he's with us long-term, just as a bit that won't end."

Ferrell is expected to appear on four episodes of The Office, beginning next month.

Report: Oprah Wants to Give Donald Trump a Makeover

PRNewsFoto/Discovery Communications, George Burns(NEW YORK) -- Donald Trump has never been one to shy away from publicizing himself, but is he willing to let people put their hands on his precious hair in exchange for promoting The Celebrity Apprentice and his potential presidential bid?  The New York Post reports Oprah Winfrey has reached out to Trump and other “big names” to appear on one of her last talk shows for a makeover in May.  Sources tell the newspaper an email invitation to Trump’s office reads in part, “The eyes of the world will be upon these episodes...This will become one of those historical television moments that will become iconic.”

Sources say Oprah’s producers have promised Trump he can plug The Celebrity Apprentice and his potential White House bid, and they have also vowed to treat his makeover with “integrity” and “not let it become a joke or silly.”

How Will Charlie Sheen 'Win' Now?

Jeff Vespa/WireImage(DETROIT) -- Charlie Sheen's "I'm going to rave about tiger blood and rant about Chuck Lorre and make you jealous of my goddesses" thing worked for awhile. He won coverage. He coined catch phrases. He scored a million Twitter followers in just over 24 hours.

But around the middle of March, it seems a lot of people stopped listening.

His debut Web show, Sheen's Korner, drew 1.2 million viewers, about one-tenth of the audience of his former show, Two and a Half Men. His $100 million lawsuit against the show got punted to arbitration. An earthquake and tsunami hit Japan. Elizabeth Taylor died. Sheen-mania petered out.

The headlines he scores these days aren't always in his corner. The New York Post reported Tuesday that after Sheen's October rampage at New York City's Plaza Hotel and his much ballyhooed binges, no hotel wants to host him.

So where does Sheen go from here? On to My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option tour, his month-long series of live engagements that kicks off Saturday in Detroit and stands as his surest chance of scoring positive press.

What remains to be seen is what exactly he's going to do when he steps on stage. His fans seem to be wondering the same thing: While Sheen's Detroit show sold out on Ticketmaster in less than 20 minutes, there are still seats available for his New York, Chicago, Cleveland, San Francisco, Denver and Dallas stops, among others.

Thousands of purchased tickets are being resold on sites like StubHub.com for a fraction of their original cost. Tickets for the main floor of the Detroit show, originally $52, are going for as low as $8 each on StubHub. A "Meet and Greet" ticket to see Sheen in Detroit, which includes a seat in the first 10 rows of the Fox Theater, a photograph with the self-proclaimed Warlock and autographed paraphernalia, can be had for the admittedly steep price of $575 at Ticketmaster.com.

Sheen reportedly banked nearly $2 million per episode with Two and a Half Men. Between ticket proceeds, after party endorsements and merchandising, his tour could net him as much as $7 million.

Confirmed: Enrique Iglesias Won't Tour with Britney Spears After All

Max Morse/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The on-again, off-again joint Britney Spears-Enrique Iglesias tour is apparently off again.

Following the surprising news on Tuesday that Iglesias had pulled out of the joint tour he was slated to do with Spears just hours after it was announced, there came a report from Billboard.biz that negotiations were underway for the tour to continue.

Now, however, ABC News Radio can confirm that the joint tour is, in fact, a non-starter.

In a statement, Iglesias' manager Gary Mantoosh said, "Unfortunately, Enrique Iglesias and Britney Spears will not be touring together.  Despite initial reports based on formal discussions of the possible run, Enrique will continue on his solo tour in support of his new album, Euphoria.  Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work.  He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone."

Apparently, the sticking points in tour negotiations were money and perception.  According to Billboard.biz, Spears was going to be paid several times more for the tour than Iglesias, and it was being perceived as "Britney's tour," even though the two were, in fact, co-headliners.  That perception was reinforced by the fact that Spears was the one who announced it, and she did it on the day her own album, Femme Fatale, was released.

As for the money, there's a question as to whether or not Iglesias would also receive a piece of the tour's box office receipts, as well as a guaranteed dollar amount per show.
