Update: Suspect in Murders of Two Sisters Found Dead

(BLISSFIELD, Mich.) -- A man wanted in connection with the murders of two sisters in southeast Michigan has been found dead in West Virginia.

U.S. Marshals reportedly went to a cottage in Tyler County, West Virginia on Tuesday night, where suspect Thomas Jack Fritz was reportedly seen entering the property. A release from Michigan State Police said, a few moments later a single gunshot was heard coming from within the cottage and Fritz was eventually discovered dead inside.

Fritz was wanted for the shooting that left of Amy Merrill, 34, and her sister Lisa Gritzmaker, 24, dead. The victims' mother, Robin Lynn McCowan, 52, was also shot in the incident, but is expected to survive.
