Electronic Cigarette Market Could Expand, FDA Cannot Regulate Importation

Image Courtesy USACigdotcom(IRVINE, Calif.) -- An international electronics manufacturer Tuesday said that they are pleased with a ruling that will not allow the FDA to regulate electronic cigarettes.

Hop-On Inc. said they are “thrilled” with the decision by an appeals court to not allow the FDA to interfere with the importation of such cigarettes.

“After 10 months of anticipation, it is time for the electronic cigarette industry to expand and make a larger impact on the market,” said Hop-on President Samuel Demissie.

The FDA will not be able to interfere with importation, but can still regulate the marketing and safety of the product.
