(TORONTO, Ontario) -- There's a new app for smartphones to help women with self breast examinations, and it includes good-looking guys.
Canadian charity Rethink Breast Cancer has announced that it will launch a new app just in time for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is observed during October. The free application, titled "Your Man Reminder," uses a series of "hot men" to remind women to check their breasts for signs of cancer, according to the release from Rethink Breast Cancer.
Officials say the app offers six "dream men," ranging from the "boy next door" to the "sports jock" to the "business man," for women to choose from. Once the user makes their choice, their dream guy will pop up on their smartphone, and remind them to regularly show their breasts some TLC (Touch. Look. Check.).
"Young women are busy and often need a reminder to show their breasts some TLC," MJ DeCoteau, Executive Director, Rethink Breast Cancer, said in a statement. "Being aware of what your breasts regularly look and feel like is the key to early detection and what better way to remind you to check yourself than a friendly nudge from a hot guy."
The app will be available for iPhone and Android smartphones.
