(NEW YORK) – According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission, around 27,000 Wolfgang Puck Electrical Reversible Tri Grill/Griddles have been recalled.
The reason for the recall is a defect in the electrical wiring of the grills that can pose an overheating, melting and electrical shock hazard to consumers.
According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission, there have already been four reports of electrical shock and two reports of melted plastic housing.
The company is offering full refunds to consumers who currently own the grill/griddles.
