Blizzard Conditions Make for Hazardous Driving Conditions
(LANSING, Mich.) -- Lansing residents are being asked to stay off the roads if possible, as blizzard conditions blanketed the area on Wednesday.
National Weather Service forecasts call for blowing and drifting snow in parts of the area, expected to make for treacherous morning and afternoon commutes. Snow accumulation is expected to be between eight and 14 inches. Wind gusts of 15-25 miles per hour are expected to cause visibility problems, with forecasts predicting close to zero visibility at times.
A blizzard warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. Wednesday.
