Ominous Blizzard Warning in Effect for Western Michigan
(LANSING, Mich.) -- The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for western Michigan from Tuesday evening to Wednesday night.
The blizzard warning means highly reduced visibility, gusts of 35 miles per hour or more, with heavy snow for three or more hours. The warning starts Tuesday at 5 p.m. and ends Wednesday at 7 p.m. With high winds, snow accumulation could be more hazardous due to drifts.
The Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes are expected to be treacherous.
