Two Michigan Companies Make Nation's 'Top 10 Workplaces' List

(DETROIT, Mich.) -- Two Michigan companies have made it onto the list of America's Top 10 Workplaces, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Plante Moran, an accounting and business advisory based in Southfield, came in at number seven out of 805 companies that have more than 1,000 U.S. employees. Quicken, an online mortgage lender based in Detroit, came in at number eight, the paper says.

Workplace Dynamics, which conducts annual surveys based on employee satisfaction for the Detroit Free Press and 29 other newspapers across the nation, compiled the 2011 Top 10 List.
