Suspect Arrested in Oct. 20 Bank Robbery

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Police say they have a suspect in custody in connection with the robbery of Simmons First National Bank on Oct. 20.

Jonathan Fox, 30, was arrested at his home around 10 a.m. Wednesday and faces charges of bank robbery and theft of property after police say he entered the bank on Merrill Drive and demanded money from the teller before fleeing the scene.

Fox was taken into the Pulaski County Jail where he remains in custody.

EPA Delays Fuel Regulation Implementation to Arkansas Farmers  

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Arkansas farmers are getting a reprieve on Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) fuel regulations, ABC News Little Rock affiliate KATV-TV reports.

State farmers have been given an 18-month extension on implementing plans required by the EPA that would offer protection against fuel spills.

EPA has moved the deadline to May 2013. The initial deadline was for November but was moved to give farmers a chance to recover from being hard hit by floods and fires this year.

Woman Found Dead in North Little Rock Street

(NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Police in North Little Rock are investigating a homicide that took place early Wednesday morning.

Police say around 1:30 a.m., they received a report about a possible murder in the 1900 block of West 16th Street. When officers went to the area, they reportedly detained two people who were in a vehicle matching the description of that of the suspect in the possible homicide.

Investigators later found the body of a woman on River Road, along with a gun they suspect was the murder weapon. The victim was pronounced dead at he scene.

Police say they have a suspect in custody, but that person hasn't been charged.

Police Continue Search for Suspect in Off-Campus Shooting

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- A University of Arkansas at Little Rock student remains in stable condition as police continue to search for a suspect in the off-campus shooting Friday night.

ABC News affiliate KATV-TV reports UALR's chancellor informed students and faculty of the shooting in an email on Monday. The incident occurred late Friday night near 12 and Lewis Streets, police said.

No additional details have been released.

Occupy Little Rock Votes to Move Protest to Parking Lot

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Occupy Little Rock protesters heeded police warnings Monday and voted to relocate from the Clinton Presidential Park to a nearby parking lot on Tuesday.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports that police warned the demonstrators they were in violation of camping rules that restricted camping in public places and holding an event without a permit.

More than 100 protesters gathered for five hours on Monday night and came up with a 92 percent vote in favor of moving the protests to a parking lot located between the Capitol Avenue Post Office and Interstate 30.

Protest participant Thomas Hudson said the group is hoping to be out of the park by 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The group has until 6 p.m. Tuesday to move, according to the Little Rock Police Department.
