Man Found Shot to Death on Little Rock Street

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Little Rock Police are investigating the shooting death of a man that occurred early Friday morning.

Police say shortly after 5 a.m. they found a man dead laying on the roadway of 11th Street between Woodrow and Booker.

Investigators say earlier two men were at a gas station when they were approached by three suspects who demanded a ride, and got into the SUV that the two men were traveling in. The men then drove to the area of Fourth and Woodrow, when one of the victims reportedly got out and went into a home. Police say it's not clear why the victim went to the residence.

The other victim and the three suspects in the SUV then drove off, with police later finding that victim dead.

The three suspects and the SUV have not been found.

Six-Vehicle Crash Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- One person was killed in a six-vehicle crash near Hazen, Ark. on Wednesday.

The crash happened on the eastbound side of Interstate 40 near the 199 mile marker. Arkansas State Police say five tractor trailers and a mini van were involved in the collision, which left one person dead and three others injured.

The dead man has been identified as 60-year-old Carl Stark, of Crescent, Okla., according to State Police. Injured in the collision were Lianwen Lin, 48, of South Pasadena, Calif.; Eddie Sawyer, 63, of Memphis, Tenn.; and Richard Dill, 60, of East Lynn, W.Va.

Man Shot and Killed After Intervening in Dispute

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- A 21-year-old man is dead following a shooting in Little Rock on Tuesday night.

The shooting happened on Black Jack Court around 11 p.m. A witness told Little Rock Police that she was involved in a dispute over money with her ex-boyfriend, when Kelshawn Mouton intervened by firing a gun into the air. The woman alleges that her ex-boyfriend then pulled out a gun and shot Mouton multiple times, before fleeing the scene.

Emergency crews responded and Mouton was pronounced dead at the scene.

Little Rock Police Investigate Double Murder

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- The investigation continues into a double homicide in Little Rock.

The victims have been identified as 40-year-old Bobby Broadway, Jr., and 32-year-old Natasha Avery.

According to the Little Rock Police, the two were found dead inside a residence on West 33rd Street around 11 a.m. Monday. After calling and getting no answer, a friend reportedly went to check on the victims and found their bodies.

There have been no arrests.

State Auditor Charlie Daniels Won't Seek Re-Election

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Arkansas' State Auditor Charlie Daniels announced Monday that he will not be seeking re-election when his term in office expires next year.

"I am grateful to the voters of the State of Arkansas for giving me the opportunity to serve for all these years, first as Commissioner of State Lands, then as Secretary of State, and now as Auditor," Daniels said in a statement.

"I have two children, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, and I am looking forward to spending more time with them in my retirement," he continued.

Daniels has served as Auditor of State since 2010.
