Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Given $300,000

(LITTLE ROCK) -- On Thursday, the Southland Park Gaming and Racing in West Memphis announced they will give the Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame $300,000, Arkansas Business reports.

The money will be used to finish building a conference center next to the museum inside of Verizon Arena in downtown North Little Rock.

The center will seat 750 for receptions and 500 for dinner, and will also be used for smaller meetings. This new building will be a public venue, as well as complement museum activities.
