Conway Rape Suspect Arrested Monday Night

(CONWAY, Ark.) -- A suspect has been arrested for a rape that occurred early Friday morning in Conway, ABC affiliate KATV-TV reports.

Last Friday about 3:40 a.m., a woman on Keathley Drive found a man in her bed, who forced her into the bathroom and sexually assaulted her. Her child was home at the time of the attack, but was unharmed.

Jonathon Thacker, who police had first considered to be a person of interest, contacted police Monday evening and was taken in for questioning. Thacker was arrested Monday night and charged with residential rape and residential burglary.
