Domestic Violence Report Leads to Narcotics Arrest

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- Sunday, St. Francis County Sheriff Deputies made a major narcotics arrest after seizing three two-foot-tall marijuana plants, three more pounds of marijuana, methamphetamine and firearms, reports ABC affiliate KATV.

The sheriff deputies had a warrant for the home of Evelyn Chappell, 45, at 2553 Hwy. 1 South. Deputies arrived at the scene because of a domestic violence report that Chappell called in. Once the police were there, they smelled the illegal substances in the house.

Chappell has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, reports KATV.
