(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- The Arkansas Forestry Commission says its investigators have determine that last weekend’s large wildfire in Van Buren County was caused by arson.
The commission issued the following statement Thursday:
"Investigators have determined arson caused the 736-acre wildfire near Dennard Sunday. Investigators are seeking information about the owner of a white Toyota pick-up truck spotted on Hargis Road between 11:30 a.m. and noon. A $3,000 reward is being offered by the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Contact the Sheriff's Department at 501-745-2112."
