Little Rock School Board Narrows Search for Superintendent

(LITTLE ROCK, Ark.) -- On Monday, the Little Rock School Board chose three finalists for the job of superintendent of Little Rock out of a field of 17 candidates.

Candidates include June Rimmer, the program director for the Stupski Foundation of California; Walter Milton, the superintendent of Springfield Schools in Illinois and Irving Hamer, the deputy superintendent of Memphis City Schools in Tennessee.

The interviews for the three finalists will take place in the first week of May.
