Officials Identify Woman Found Dead in Ouachita National Forest

(ODEN, Ark.) -- Officials have identified a woman who was found dead in the Ouachita National Forest Sunday morning, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.

The Saline County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that the woman was identified as 29-year-old Jackie Hibbs of the Jacksonville area. Her body was discovered at about 11 a.m. Sunday by a civilian. No further details have been released about her death, the paper says.

The case is currently under investigation.
