Teen Drowns in Greers Ferry Lake

(HEBER SPRINGS, Ark.) -- Authorities say a 13-year-old boy drowned Monday in Greers Ferry Lake.
The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim as Robert Daniel Woods. Officials said Woods was found unresponsive in about eight feet of water, and was taken to an area hospital where attempts to revive him proved futile.
Woods had reportedly gone for a swim after football practice.
