Three Local Law Enforcement Agencies to Get Monetary Boost

(WASHINGTON) -- Three local law enforcement agencies in Arkansas are set to receive some financial assistance to aid in the fight against crime.

Senators Mark Pryor and John Boozman along with Congressmen Rick Crawford, Steve Womack and Mike Ross announced on Tuesday that the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program will provide funding to local agencies to assist with the purchase of law enforcement equipment and supplies.

Funding will go to agencies in Fayetteville ($72,707), Hot Springs ($57,182) and West Helena ($11,885).
