Four Died in Eagle Rock Crash

(PASADENA, Calif.) -- Four have died as a result of a car crash on Sunday night, reports ABC affiliate KABC-TV.

An SUV lost control after a tire blew out and went off the side of 134 Freeway at Figueroa Street in Eagle Rock.

Overnight, a man, 56, died from injuries at Huntington Memorial Hospital. A woman, 36, sent to the same hospital is currently in critical condition.

A girl, 6, was sent to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and is also in critical condition.

A female passenger, who was possibly a child, a female in her 30s and a man in his 40s were all pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials are continuing their investigation. Alcohol was found at the scene and may have contributed to the accident.
