Statewide Amber Alert Issued for Missing Teen

(LOS ANGELES) -- A statewide Amber Alert remains in effect as authorities try to locate a missing 16-year-old girl believed to have been kidnapped by two men in San Ardo in Monterrey County on Saturday night.

Authorities said Eunice Serrato was kidnapped by Juan Salazar Sr., 39, and his son Juan Manuel Salazar, 19. The suspects are believed to be in a tan 2007 Honda Civic, with California license plate 6JUK098.

The missing teen's parents reportedly returned home on Saturday night to find two men shot to death in their bathroom and their daughter gone. Officials said the dead men were not related to the missing girl's family.

Serrato is described as being Hispanic, about 5'5" in height and weighing approximately 130 pounds. Police said she was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt, pink jacket, blue jeans and sandals.
