Two Killed, Two Injured in Northern Calif. Boat Crash
(YUBA COUNTY, Calif.) -- Officials in Northern California are investigating a crash involving two boats on Englebright Lake over the weekend, which has left two people dead.
The crash reportedly happened on Saturday evening in Yuba County, Calif., as authorities said a boat driven by Jeffrey Sandow, 53, crashed into another boat, resulting in two men onboard the latter boat being killed and another man onboard the same boat being injured, according to published reports. One passenger from the boat that Sandow was driving, was also injured in the crash.
Investigators believe Sandow was intoxicated at the time he was operating the boat, and he has since been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.
