Solar Tracking System Company Partners with TVA

(PHOENIX, Ariz.) -- The Tennessee Valley Authority Renewable Energy Program just received an additional four solar farms.

DEGERenergie shipped 112 DEGERtrakers that feature Maximum Light Detection technology to Apex Construction Services in Tennessee, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

The Apex construction team installed the tracking systems together in four solar fields, which began operating in April. Each field is equipped with 28 6000NT trackers, which are dual-axis solar tracking systems, and are designed to power up to 200 kilowatts.

The recent addition is part of TVA's mission of providing low-cost, cleaner energy by 2020.
