Tennessee Pastor Indicted on Child Sex Charges
(CLEVELAND, Tenn.) -- A Cleveland pastor has been indicted on two counts of sexual battery for allegedly having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 16, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reports.
Henry "Hank" Davis, pastor of the Church of the Harvest, was indicted by a Polk County grand jury, a news release said. He is accused of having inappropriate sexual contact with the girl while on a youth mission trip to the Parksville Lake area of Polk County. A detective said the girl told two adults about the alleged incidents.
The Cleveland Police Department picked Davis up on July 13 and brought him to the Polk County Justice Center. He was released on a $20,000 bond, but will return to court on July 23.
