Haslam Appoints Tennesseans to State Boards and Commissions

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) -- On Thursday, Gov. Bill Haslam appointed 165 Tennesseans to various state boards and commissions, according to the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

The legislature approved Haslam’s recommendation to reform several of the state’s boards and commissions.

Each term will vary because of differing statutory requirements and term limits will be determined by specific qualifications.
