Koch Brothers Extend Donations to Tennessee Republicans
(WASHINGTON) -- The Koch brothers, billionaires famous for financing conservative groups, have extended their donations to Tennessee Republicans, the Jackson Sun reports.
Koch PAC, the Koch Industries political action committee, has given $42,500 to five Republican members of the Tennessee congressional delegation so far for this year's elections. Rep. Marsha Blackburn has received the most at $17,500, followed by Reps. Diane Black at $10,000, Stephen Fincher at $7,500, Chuck Fleischmann and Scott DesJarlais at $2,500, the paper says.
Koch PAC has given $5,000 to the Tennessee Republican Party. The Tennessee donations are part of $2.04 million in Koch-related contributions to congressional candidates across the country, according to the Jackson Sun.
