More Cases of West Nile Virus Confirmed in Tennessee

(KNOXVILLE, Tenn.) -- More West Nile virus cases have been confirmed in Tennessee, ABC affiliate WATE-TV reports.

Ten people are said to have contracted the illness, according to the state health department. The recent positive test results stem from Shelby County, where six people are infected.

Chester, Hickman, Haywood and Greene Counties each separately report one case of West Nile virus in humans.
