Gym Class Heroes & Travie McCoy Book "VH1 Divas" & "Ellen" Appearances

Fueled by RamenGym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy is not a female, but that hasn't stopped him from getting himself booked on the upcoming special VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul, where he'll be appearing alongside the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson.

Specifically,  Travie will be joining The Roots and British soul diva Estelle -- who you may remember from her 2008 Kanye West-featuring hit "American Boy" -- for a joint performance of the song "Wake Up Everybody."  It was originally a hit in 1975 for Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, and featured the late soul legend Teddy Pendergrass on lead vocals.   VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul will air Monday, December 19.

Meanwhile, the entire band has just been booked for an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on November 23.
