Sara Evans Leads Female Acts at the Top of the Charts for 2011

Russ HarringtonSara Evans is the only female artist to hold the #1 spot on the country radio charts for two straight weeks in 2011. She did it with the platinum single "A Little Bit Stronger," which was co-written by Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott. It's the lead single from Sara's current album, Stronger.

"'A Little Bit Stronger' changed everything for me," Sara says.  "The best part of getting to sing such an empowering song every night is that I get to hear people's stories about how this song has helped them through a difficult time."  She adds, "I've always believed that music can heal hearts and this year, I've been able to hear about it first hand."

Sara's current single, "My Heart Can't Tell You No," is currently climbing the country chart.  Sara heads out on Rascal Flatts' Thaw Out 2012 tour, kicking off January 12 in Charleston, WV.
