Taylor Swift Distributes Tornado Relief Funds to Three Tuscaloosa, AL Schools

Big Machine RecordsTaylor Swift raised $750,000 earlier this year at her tour dress rehearsal for the tornado relief effort in Alabama, and now some more of that money is being put into action. According to AL.com, Taylor has donated $150,000 to the Tuscaloosa City Schools' Disaster Relief fund. That money will be split evenly among three local elementary and middle schools to replace supplies and materials lost in the April 27 tornado that destroyed much of Tuscaloosa. Taylor also donated $250,000 over the summer to University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban's Nick's Kids fund for the tornado relief effort.
