KellyClarkson.comKelly Clarkson has now extended her lead as the American Idol alum with the most hit pop singles -- "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" has just become her tenth top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100. Carrie Underwood is a distant second, with four, followed by Jordin Sparks with three. Clay Aiken, Ruben Studdard and Daughtry each have two.
Kelly performed "Stronger" at her concert Thursday night in Boston, as well as her other hits, but she also threw in a nice cover version: she sang Heart's 1985 hit "What About Love." Since her tour kicked off earlier this month, Kelly has been performing a wide range of cover songs, from Cee Lo Green's "Forget You," to Coldplay's "Fix You," to Etta James' "I'd Rather Go Blind" to Carrie Underwood's "I Know You Won't."
After the Boston show, Kelly awarded the city her "Best Crowd So Far" award via Twitter. She wrote, "BOSTON!!!!! That was so much fun!!!! You just won for best crowd so far on this tour!! On your feet all night and singing every word ....I LOVED IT!!!!"
Also on Thursday, Kelly noted that she was approaching one million followers on Twitter, and commented, "Does this mean I'm gonna have to start saying relevant things .....not gonna happen :)"
