Madonna Promises "Action-Packed" Album

Benett/Getty ImagesMadonna has been teasing fans masterfully with hints about what to expect from her upcoming album MDNA.  First, the unauthorized fan leak of the first single, "Gimme All Your Luvin,"  displayed the Queen of Pop's playful side.  Most recently, fans heard Madonna's Golden Globe-winning ballad "Masterpiece" which will also appear on MDNA.  The two songs suggest very different styles for her highly anticipated studio album, but Her Madgesty tells MTV, "The majority of the record is more action-packed, more high-energy."

Madonna's new album will feature production from Martin Solveig -- best known for the song "Hello,"  his collaboration with Dragonette -- as well as from her longtime collaborator William Orbit, with whom she created her Grammy-winning album Ray of Light.  "We've worked on stuff for so many years that we kind of finish each other's sentences.  He knows my taste and what I like.  Magic happens when we get into a recording studio together," Madonna told MTV.  MDNA is due to be released this spring.
