On New Year's Eve, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg made headlines when he and Lady Gaga shared a kiss after they pushed the button to drop the famous ball over Times Square. So, what was it like to kiss Lady Gaga? According to the mayor, evidently not as good as kissing his significant other. According to DNAinfo.com, Bloomberg told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday, "The best kiss of the night came after that, from [my girlfriend] Diana [Taylor]."
Overall, though, the mayor said he enjoyed hanging out with Mother Monster. "Lady Gaga is very charming. She’s a young lady who grew up and went to school here in New York City. She’s obviously a great entertainer,” he told reporters. "She really does have some talent." He added, "It was fun to talk to her about New York City,” but said he was surprised to hear that Gaga was nervous before her Times Square appearance. Bloomberg says when he asked her, "Why [are you nervous]? You perform in front of big crowds all the time," she replied, "Yeah, but this is my home."
Bloomberg added that he promised Gaga he would go to the restaurant that her father, Joe Germanotta, is opening on Manhattan's Upper West Side.
