Kanye West fans can finally hear the full version of his song "White Dress," which set tongues wagging when a snippet of the track appeared on Pusha T's website on Thursday. The song comes from the soundtrack of The Man with the Iron Fists, a martial arts film directed by Wu-Tang Clans's RZA.
Some folks immediately thought Kim Kardashian when Kanye was heard on the clip rhyming, "I seen you in the club in a tight dress/But I picture you in church with a white dress." But with the full version out, there's a chance 'Ye could be talking about his ex Amber Rose, or somebody entirely different.
Whoever this woman is, according to 'Ye's lyrics, she likes "pina coladas, getting caught in the rain/Wearing flannels all summer like Curt Kobain... and you're probably the type of girl that deserve a new last name."
Whatever the case, outside forces seemed to tear Kanye and his mystery girl apart. "They never let us do our thang/Everybody lying on who I bang/We was on fire, but they blew our flame," he rhymes, before adding that his baby's started to change.
Kanye also admits that his actions have taken a toll on the relationship, rhyming, "See she knew about all my lies the whole time/And my credit so bad I can't get no one to co-sign/I woulda thought she woulda busted the dope crime/But she up and left a ni**a and she ain't give me no sign now."
Putting the past behind them, Kanye asks his mystery woman to run off to Europe with him, and "go somewhere private."
Of course, there's a chance that the mystery woman to whom Kanye's singing to is a fictional character. Also, RZA tells the TheBoombox that Kanye saw a scene from The Man with the Iron Fists and came up with the song. "White Dress" will be featured on the movie's soundtrack, due out Oct. 23.
