Taylor Swift Scores 50th "Billboard Hot" 100 Song

Big Machine RecordsTaylor Swift has been on the charts for only six years, but she's just hit a milestone that it took others more than a decade to achieve: she's scored her 50th charting song on the Billboard Hot 100.

Taylor's latest release, "I Knew You Were Trouble," is the one that rang the bell for her.  It's taken her just six years and one month to reach 50 entries, but that's mostly because the bulk of them weren't official singles -- she's released and charted multiple preview tracks from her albums Fearless, Speak Now and Red.

There are only four other women in Hot 100 history who've had at least as many entries as Taylor: Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick and Connie Francis.  Of those, the woman who racked up 50 entries the most quickly is Aretha Franklin, who did it in 14 years, six months and three weeks.
