The-Dream Announces the Commercial Release of His "1977" Album
Island Def JamThe-Dream is releasing a new project, but it's not the Love IV MMXXII album that he previewed tracks from earlier this year. Instead, Dream has announced the commercial release of 1977, the free album that he originally released under his birth name, Terius Nash.
The 1977 set, which first hit the Web in August 2011, will serve as the follow-up to The-Dream's 2010 Love King album. The introspective 1977 will be available in stores on December 18. The set includes songs like the bitter "Used to Be" and "Long Gone," which some people believe touches on Dream's short-lived marriage to singer Christina Milian.
